The lawyers of Kathryn Mayorga, the Las Vegas woman who claims that Cristiano Ronaldo raped her in 2009, told reporters Wednesday that they could release evidence against the football star.
Mayorga's lawyers claimed that members of the press had asked for several documents regarding Mayorga's claims that they "were carefully examining a possible release".
The documents include an initial police report and medical records of the sexual assault perpetrated by Mayorga, shortly after she stated that Ronaldo had raped her in a hotel room in Las Vegas. Vegas at the age of 25.
A copy of the confidentiality agreement that was not disclosed by Mayorga was also signed as part of a settlement of $ 375,000 with Ronaldo. Mayorga's lawyers said they could also publish a recent psychiatric assessment that she was probably psychologically unfit at the time to conclude the agreement.

Mayorga's lawyers stated that the doctor they had consulted to examine their client had diagnosed her with major depression and post-traumatic stress disorder related to alleged rape.
Ronaldo, who plays for Italian club Juventus and Portugal's national team, has strongly denied the accusations against Mayorga, relying Wednesday morning on Twitter to call it a "media show" to bring him down.
Mayorga filed a complaint against Ronaldo 27 September and detailed his allegations against him in the German weekly newspaper Der Spiegel on 29 September.
