A hundred people demonstrated Sunday night in front of AT & T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, before the Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants to protest the death of two police officers earlier this month in the Dallas area. .
Local pastor Frederick Haynes and Lee Merritt – family lawyer Jean Botham – led the protests and brought with them two hearses and coffins in the stadium to represent the two men, according to the Star-Telegram's Fort Worth.

Merritt also said he chose to demonstrate at the stadium to support NFL players who protested police brutality and other issues during the national anthem – which the Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, has openly criticized.

Oshae Terry was shot dead by a police officer in Arlington, Texas, on September 1, when he was leaving by car after being arrested.
Jean was shot dead in his own apartment by a Dallas police officer who was not at his post and who mistakenly entered the apartment and thought he was an intruder. The group called Amber Guyger, the police officer who killed Jean, to be immediately fired and charged with murder instead of manslaughter.
