The "Fresh Prince" made a huge leap Tuesday, nearly six months after the popular YouTubers "Yes Theory" challenged him to face one of his biggest fears. Smith has chosen his 50th birthday to complete the task of educating people about Global Citizen's education campaigns.

The actor has conquered his heights fear live on his YouTube in front of his friends and family, including his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, his ex-co-star Alfonso Ribeiro and his 25 million subscribers.

The crowd cheered after the jump as Smith let out his own relief. He described the experience as going from "pure terror to absolute happiness".

Before the dive, Smith remembered being "terrified of walking to the edge of the Grand Canyon as a child." Now, the actor can say that he has "hailed" by his side.

Although it was advertised as a jump "in the heart of the Grand Canyon", the waterfall actually stranded over the Little Colorado Gorge on the lands of the Navajo Nation, east of the one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Smith shared a family photo on Instagram before the dive: "My team is holding me back for my big 5-0".
