On Saturday, Avenatti posted a video on Twitter alleging that he was planning to investigate Carlson for the assault of a "gay homosexual immigrant".

The video was taken during a dinner at the Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Virginia on October 13, where Carlson was joined by his two children. (Shocker: The place looks like a plantation and was designed by Thomas Jefferson.)
Avenatti claims to represent the unidentified man still seized by the pass of the video, who may have been assaulted by Carlson and his son.
Carlson tells a different story, although he admits that his son has confronted and poured wine on the man. He issued a statement via Fox News detailing his version of events:
"Towards the end of the meal, my 19-year-old daughter went to the bathroom with a friend," Carlson said in a statement. "On the way home, a middle-aged man stopped my daughter and asked her if she was sitting with Tucker Carlson. My daughter had never seen the man before. She said, "It's my father," and she pointed at me. The man replied, "Are you fucking Tucker?" He called her "fuckin '."
Carlson continued, "My daughter came back to the table in tears. She soon left the table and the club. My son, who is also a student, entered the bar to confront the man. I followed. My son asked the man if he had treated his sister as a "prostitute" and "conne". The man recognized the opposite and became profane again. My son threw a glass of red wine at the man's face and told him to leave the bar, which he did quickly. "
Carlson says the club revoked the man's membership following the incident. Meanwhile, Avenatti is looking for new witnesses.
Carlson and Avenatti have a story: Carlson has already called Avenatti a "scary porn lawyer," to which Avenatti asked "Tucker, how do you organize a show and are you ignorant? How is it possible?"

Update: Avenatti tweeted a statement from his client, an "active member of the Charlottesville community," claiming that Carlson had threatened him and told him to "go back to where you came from."
