PARIS (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that Moscow wants to re-establish a comprehensive dialogue with the United States on the historic Cold War missile treaty, Russian news organizations reported.

President Donald Trump said last month that Washington would withdraw from the Mid-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, with Russia violating the pact, warning Russia to retaliate.

Putin, speaking to French television RT-backed by the Kremlin, said he could meet with Trump on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Argentina, according to the agencies.
