"This volume of orders far exceeds the expectations of the SQDC, but also demonstrates the robustness of the systems of the company," said the SQDC in a statement.

Quebec has already indicated that the products would be sold at a minimum price of $ 5.25 per gram, taxes included, which means that if each customer were limited to one gram of the cheapest product, the province would have committed $ 220,500 in sales.
