The police department of a West Virginia town told locals that the "rabid" raccoons they had reported seeing in their area in recent days were not rabid, but that they got drunk with fermented crab apples.
The Milton Police Department said on its social network profile that two police officers had been forced to put a "masked bandit" in custody at the beginning of the week with the help of several neighborhood residents.
