UFC fighter Rachael Ostovich officially fired from his upcoming fight against Paige VanZant – citing the brutal injuries that she suffered during an attack over the weekend.

TMZ Sports told the story … Ostovich, 27, was hospitalized after being assaulted in Hawaii. He was diagnosed with a broken eye and other injuries.

His director issued a statement in which he explains that Rachael is just too hurt to enter the octagon in January.

"A very unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday night with Rachael Ostovich, which ended with a fractured orbit and other injuries," said Brian Butler-Au.

"Because of these injuries, she will not be able to participate in her next fight with Paige VanZant on January 19th."

"Rachael is now home after leaving the hospital with her family and she will be going back for further exams on her orbital."

Butler-Au added: "We would like to thank the UFC for its support on this case, as well as the fans and the media for your concern."

As we reported previously, the cops opened a crime investigation of domestic violence in the matter – but until now, no arrests have been made.

The cops did not reveal the suspect's name either.

As for Paige, we do not know if she will fight again in January or who will be her adversary.
