Raiders make changes to the cornerback, leaving a player very unhappy

The Raiders have been looking for three outside semitrailers throughout the season. They settled Sunday against Seattle, having turned the semi-turns for most of the fall.

Daryl Worley and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie took advantage of almost every opportunity, including Leon Hall.

This range was new. Rashaan Melvin and Gareon Conley were chosen for this crew.

It became clear that Worley would start after returning from suspension before the shock of the fifth week of the season L.A. Gruden reiterated this point in clear terms after a 27-3 win over Seattle at Wembley Stadium in London.

"Worley is a good player. Worley is going to be a starter here, "said Gruden. "It's a guy who's really established himself as a real bend for the Raiders."

Seeing Worley play against Conley was not a shock, as Conley was essentially relieved of his duties against the Chargers. The choice of last year's first round to play at absolute zero was, however, a surprise. The old regime considered him one of the best hedge players, someone who should become a mainstay of the starting lineup

Gruden's staff questions his ability to tackle and when he is beaten. They did not give up, however.

"Conley is still a young man," said Gruden. "We will repeat this again and again. His career is just beginning. He had a few games last week for which he needs to improve and progress. He will be."

It is still not known how Melvin will fit into future Raider projects. He has only played seven games against Seattle, succeeding the coaching review of Rodgers-Cromartie.

Melvin was upset by the events of the match, especially after the coaches forced him to use new techniques while playing the corner. Melvin is clearly upset, maybe he's done with what he's taught him this season.

Melvin tweeted this just after the match:

Then he launched another tweet Monday morning:

It may not help Melvin get to the field, but time will tell.

Gruden said he was excited to see another half corner.

"Next week, after the start, hope you'll see Nick Nelson in perfect health," said Gruden. "It's our fourth round pick, so now we're going to throw it in the litter and I'm really going to confuse you."

It was odd to see the indecisive corner half so late in the year, but Gruden pledged to try new combinations until that was satisfied. Nelson could come for Hall shots. Nelson has experience in the slot and could step in.
