Rapper Lil Xan says he had to go to the hospital on Monday after eating too many hot cheetos.

"I was in the hospital, I was not taking drugs, but I guess I ate too many hot cheetos and that … I tore something in my belly." , then I vomited a little blood, "he says with a laugh a video posted on Instagram.

"We are good," he said before promoting his next tour.

Rapper Soundcloud with a social network following millions of people will start his Total Xanarchy tour in New York on Wednesday, reports Billboard.

This is not the first time that snacks are making headlines because of health issues. In July, a mother blamed snacks, including Hot Cheetos, for her daughter's gall bladder surgery. The teenager regularly ate sachets of Hot Cheetos and Takis before stomach pains led to surgery.

According to Medical Daily, eating an excessive amount of hot Cheetos or similar snacks can cause stomach pain and has been associated with emergency room visits.

Dr. Yvonne Juarez, pediatrician in Fresno, California, told the Fresno Bee in 2012, inflamed snacks can increase the acidity of the stomach and cause pain.

"Patients have gone to emergency because of that," she told the newspaper. "It's crazy, absolutely crazy."

Hot Cheetos and Takis burned the world of snacks in 2012, with schools in several states banning foods as unhealthy and disruptive while confiscating them on the spot. This triggered a black market in some schools, Takis becoming an underground currency.

Lil Xan urged subscribers to "be careful" because "Hot Cheetos are a drug in hell" in an Instagram article.
