Nicki Minaj was distributing the holiday party in Queens the day before Thanksgiving.
The rapper went on Wednesday night to southern Jamaica to distribute more than 500 Thanksgiving turkeys to the locals.
Minaj was born in Trinidad and Tobago, but moved to Queens at the age of 5.
The 113th NYPD constituency posted on Twitter photos of the rapper's generous act: "Who said rappers do not give back to their home neighborhood?" Minaj retweeted the message,
The pictures showed people on the street to get a glimpse of the rapper, and maybe a turkey.
This is not the first act of generosity of Minaj. Last year, she offered to pay more than $ 25,000 in tuition fees to her fans if they were to score net results at school.
