Michael Douglas was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and shared that moment with those whom he loved most.
The 74-year-old actor delivered a heartfelt speech after his induction Tuesday after nearly five decades of work in Hollywood.
Some of his closest family members, including his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, his son Cameron Douglas, his 101-year-old father and actor Kirk Douglas, joined Douglas, whose star on the Walk of Fame was nearby.
Jane Fonda, former Douglas agent, Ron Meyer, Will & Grace star Eric McCormack and Andy Garcia were also present.
The Kominsky method Star talked about his nearly 50 years in the industry and said the most frequently asked question about his career was: "What took so long?" as for obtaining a star on the Walk of Fame.

"Let's be honest, it's a great honor and I'm not getting any younger," Douglas said. "I'm going to enjoy it with my wife and my son, my guardians and great-great-grandchildren."

Douglas is excited about his father, Kirk, who was sitting in a wheelchair during the ceremony.
