LOS ANGELES – A Californian doctor who participated in a reality show and an alleged accomplice were accused of drugging and sexually assaulting two women, and authorities announced Tuesday that "there could be a lot more victims.
The orthopedic surgeon Grant W. Robicheaux, 38, from Newport Beach and Cerissa Laura Riley, 31, from Brea, were arrested on September 12 after being charged with drug, anesthetic or controlled drug District Attorney Tony Rackauckas said at a press conference in Santa Ana.

"We believe that the defendants have used their beauty and charm to reduce the inhibition of their potential prey," said Rackauckas, publishing a series of information on many of the places and events associated with Robicheaux and Riley. .
The defendants, who were released on bail of $ 100,000, could not be immediately contacted for comment.
The two women who were assaulted met the couple during social gatherings.
"The women who met these two people may have felt a false sense of security because the two defendants are healthy and pretty," Rackauckas said.

According to prosecutors, Robicheaux and Riley met a 32-year-old woman at a restaurant in Newport Beach on April 10, 2016, invited her to a party and then escorted her to Robicheaux's apartment while she was drunk.
The couple allegedly gave the victim several drugs and sexually assaulted her while she was unable to resist. The woman called the police the next day and a forensic examination revealed several controlled substances.
On October 2, 2016, the accused allegedly drank alcohol with another woman at a bar in Newport Beach until she was unconscious, brought her to the hospital. Robicheaux's apartment and the sexually assaulted. The district attorney's office said that the victim woke up and shouted for help until a neighbor called the police, who opened an investigation.
Further charges against the two men allege that large quantities of illicit drugs were found in Robicheaux's residence in January 2018. Robicheaux is also charged with possessing two illegal and unregistered assault rifles, four other firearms and several large magazines.
The District Attorney stated that the events and venues that both partners have been able to visit since 2015 include the Burning Man Festival in Nevada, the Dirtybird Campout Festival in Silverado, California, the Splash House Festival in Palm Springs and sites near Page, Arizona.
Robicheaux was an undergraduate student at Louisiana State University and then graduated from his medical school in 2007, said Rackauckas. He then completed graduate studies at the University Hospital of Joint Diseases from New York to New York and completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Irvine Medical Center at the University of California at Orange, California. He was licensed to practice medicine in California on May 30, 2009.
A message left at Robicheaux's office was not returned immediately on Tuesday, and a home number indicated for him did not have a voice mail. Riley's number was not registered and she could not be reached.
The Bravo reality show aired during a season is no longer in production and there is no plan to bring it back, said a spokesman for NBC Universal in an email.
