Recap "Dance with the stars": [Spoiler] Eliminated From Season 27

The CW Charm The restart was not the only series to invoke the power of the Three this week.

Dance with the stars also showed his appreciation of the trios on Monday night, when each pair of Season 27 was joined by a third dancer for their routines.

Of course, not all trio dances were created equal during the broadcast of week 4. Although most duos were joined by DWTS alumni who resisted well to their seasons, a couple had the huge advantage of adding a professional dancer to their team (hello, Maddie Ziegler!), and another had the disadvantage of adding … Bachelor scoundrel. Suffice it to say that the playing field was not at all levels Monday, resulting in performances ranging from amazing to scary.

Let's recap the highlights and strengths of Trio Night:

BEST OF NIGHT
Milo Manheim and Witney Carson with singer Riker Lynch (Salsa)
– I will not be surprised to see Milo qualify for the final of Season 27 in a few weeks, and I sincerely hope he will. Although he may have been struck off as a dishonest teenager lacking experience, the Zombies The actor proved that he was able to follow Witney's most furious choreography. Add to that the easy chemistry he had with Riker during this salsa, as well as impressive footwork, and Milo's performance was by far the strongest on the show. Judges' rating: 29/30

BEST OF THE NIGHT (RUNNER-UP)
Mary Lou Retton and pro Sasha Farber with gymnast Nastia Liukin (Charleston)
– Elevators, all. the lifts. I still try to understand this movement when Mary Lou and Nastia both hooked on Sasha's body as he twirled them around the dance floor. (Who was holding who ?!) But even without the elevators, this Charleston was clean, neat and ridiculously amusing – and it was comforting to see Mary Lou draw a routine she had insisted on. Judges' rating: 26/30

Most disappointing
DeMarcus Ware and professional Lindsay Arnold with NFL player Rashad Jennings (Paso Doble)
– Lindsay had her big shoes to fill with this paso doble; his last trio dance, with Jordan Fisher and Corbin Bleu, was almost perfect. I thought Lindsay could reach the same greatness with DeMarcus and Rashad, given the absolute power and athleticism of these men. But there were some aspects of the routine that had just been fun, namely the energy and technical accuracy of the NFL players. There was a lot of masculinity and strength strutting around the dance floor, but in the end I did not feel anything. Judges' rating: 22/30

Worse of the night
Joe "Joe's Grocery" Amabile and Jenna Johnson with pro The bacheloretteJordan Kimball (Salsa) – This routine was uncomfortable at so many levels and made me deeply saddened for Jenna. The girl is able to win a mirror ball; in fact, she just did it! Few months ago! With Adam Rippon! (I know the athlete season felt as if it had not really happened, but it did.) But she was there, practically dragging these two bachelorette guys through a salsa that was supposed to be sexy but eventually fell victim to wardrobe malfunctions and, as Bruno noted, a sense of Joe's "nonexistent" rhythm and Jordan Joe is a charming dude, and it's nice to see him get excited in the ballroom … but maybe it's time for the public to look at his last rose. Judges' rating: 15/30

And now, the results of week 4:

COUPLES IN JEOPARDY
Evanna Lynch and pro Keo Motsepe
Tinashe and pro Brandon Armstrong

ELIMINATED
Tinashe and pro Brandon Armstrong

Your turn! Tinashe and Brandon deserve to be sent home? (Judging by the hootings of the ballroom crowd … no.) And what trio dances did you like best? Leave a comment below!
