Australian researchers on Thursday said they have detected a record of radio waves from space, including the closest galaxy.
"We've found 20 fast radio bursts in a year," said Ryan Shannon from the Swinburne University of Technology in Victoria.
Shannon led the report on the signals of a high-powered telescope in Western Australia, Xinhua news agency reported.
The flashes of radio waves and their exact causes are not yet known. in 80 years, said the researchers.
