Speaking to media on Thursday at Dodger Stadium, Alex Cora, coach of the Boston Red Sox, gave an update on Mookie Betts and J.D. Martinez.
After Betts worked on second base while the World Series was in Fenway for Games 1 and 2, Cora said the Betts would not start at second base for the third game in Los Angeles. Although Cora confirmed that Betts – who had made 14 starts in second base in 2014 – would not start at second base, he did not rule out Betts playing at any point in the match.
