An outside group dedicated to the election of Republicans to the US House of Representatives draws its money from Colorado's most competitive race.

The super PAC, called the Congressional Fund for Leadership, has canceled about $ 1 million of planned television advertising on behalf of Republican Mike Coffman, who has five terms, by polling day.

"It's Washington DC," Tyler Sandberg, Coffman's campaign manager, said in a statement. "One day you're up, the next day you're down. That's not how Mike Coffman is connected.
