Replacing Brian Flores: Watch out for former Ohio Defense Coordinator Greg Schiano

It seems that de facto Patriots defensive coordinator Brian Flores is taking over as Dolphins head coach, which means the Patriots will have to find a replacement.

There is no logical person on staff, like last year when Flores took over from Matt Patricia. The name most often cited is that of former Ohio Defense Coordinator Greg Schiano. Appearing on the NFL Network Sunday morning, Ian Rapoport also announced his name. It makes sense that he left the Ohio State last week to pursue opportunities in the NFL.

Schiano, who has coached a number of patriots and Bill Belichick's son at Rutgers, has previously worked with Belichick as an assistant to the NFL combo while he was holding two jobs (Tampa Bay and Ohio State) .

Other names to consider are Belichick himself, Brendan Daly, Josh Boyer and Bret Bielema.
