While Kawhi Leonard's future in San Antonio is uncertain, Danny Green has committed to the Spurs for at least one more season.

ESPN Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday that Green has exercised his $ 10 million player option for the 2018-19 season.

"I think longevity is the key for most guys, especially for guys who are getting older," Green told Young in May. "But there are many options that come into play, and (a long – term deal) has crossed the mind.

Perhaps staying in the Popovich system was comforting enough for Green to give up the free agency. Maybe the $ 10 million was too good to pass up, like ESPN Bobby Marks projected that the custody market would be about $ 8.6 million.
