Republican brothers and sisters in Arizona approve of his opponent in brutal commercials

The attack ads are not news in the political world, but a campaign video targeting an Arizona congressman has just reached a new level of "whoa".

David Brill, an Arizona Democrat seeking Republican Representative Paul Gosar's seat in Congress, issued a series of campaign announcements on Thursday attacking Gosar's character, morality and politics while urging residents of the United States to Arizona to vote.

The videos feature six of Gosar's siblings – David, Gaston, Grace, Jennifer, Joan and Tim – who all support their brother's opponent.

"None of us are doing it for advertising," David Gosar told the Phoenix New Times on Friday. "None of us even wants to do it."

Gosar, a four-member congressman, is a staunch Conservative and supporter of President Donald Trump. He supports the construction of a wall along the border between the United States and Mexico and suggested that the army build it. It is joined Trump's incessant attacks on the media and once called the Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the Capitol Police to arrest all undocumented immigrants who attended the state of the Union this year as guests.

Because of their participation in Brill's advertising campaign, at least six of Gosar's 10 siblings disagree with their brother's policy and want his opponent to win.

"It would be difficult to see my brother as a racist," said Grace Gosar in one of the videos, according to the Phoenix New Times.

David Gosar told the New Times that his brother's health could deteriorate.

"He just does not look good," he told the newspaper.

Last October, seven brothers and sisters in Gosar sent a pithy letter to the editor of the Kingman Daily Miner denouncing their brother for peddling a conspiracy theory that billionaire George Soros would have financed the fatal rally in Charlottesville, Virginia . Gosar also suggested that the rally was actually orchestrated by the left.

"It's a question of good and bad, not politics," wrote his brothers and sisters. "We are sorry that Paul has fallen so low that he now spits the most despicable slander against an 87-year-old man without any evidence, and does not even have the courage or decency to excuse?"
