Resurgent Rose makes a U-turn to score 50 goals against Jazz

Los Angeles (AFP) – Derrick Rose has been rid of his most valuable player suit of the season, scoring a 50-point record to allow the Minnesota Timberwolves to secure a 128-125 victory. on Utah during a North West Division NBA duel on Wednesday.

"I'm doing everything to win.I've played my heart tonight.My teammates had said before the game to play my game and it was a hellish night," Rose said.

Donovan Mitchell scored 26 points and Rudy Gobert added 22 for Utah. Jae Crowder had 18 points.

Minnesota played without star player Jimmy Butler and leaders Jeff Teague and Tyus Jones.

In Los Angeles, LeBron James scared the Staples Center crowd when he missed the first of his two free throws two seconds from the end, while the Lakers passed near the Dallas Mavericks 114-113.

"As it's Halloween, we had to scare the crowd, I guess," James said.

The Lakers have almost lost a big point but have managed to maintain their victory.

The match seemed to want to be extended, but Mavericks veteran Wesley Matthews decided to intentionally foul James in the last Lakers possession with two seconds to go. That sent the MVP four times to the free throw line with a score of 113-113 tied, but after missing the first goal, James made the second for the win.

James finished with 29 points for the Lakers who were 111-98 with 3:42 to go before the Mavericks go 15-2 to tie at seven seconds.
