San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster was arrested at the Tampa, Florida hotel for domestic violence.

An arrest report from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office indicates that Foster was jailed late Saturday night. He is detained without bail.

Foster was arrested by Tampa police at 9:10 pm at the Grand Hyatt Hotel where the team stays before playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

The 49ers did not immediately respond to the request for comment.

This is not Foster's first confrontation with the law since entering the 49ers last year. He has been arrested twice in the past season, including charges of conjugal violence related to a crime, on February 11, in Los Gatos, California, where his former girlfriend, Elissa Ennis, had accused of having struck her up to 10 times. dragging her out of her house and throwing her to the ground.

These charges were subsequently dropped after Ennis retracted his original story and a judge ruled that there was no other evidence that could give rise to a probable cause.

Foster also faced a charge of felony crimes resulting from his arrest in February, which was later reduced to one offense. Previously, he was arrested in January in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. This charge was dismissed in May after taking a course on diversion and asked to pay a $ 100 bail fee.

Foster was suspended for the first two games of the season because of the arrests.
