Police said the two "have lived together in the past and that they have been involved in a release relationship over the last three years".

Foster was arrested by Tampa police at 9:10 pm at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay for the only domestic battery charge. He remained in custody early Sunday and was not eligible for bail, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office website.

The arrest was Foster's second linked to an allegation of domestic violence in less than a year.
