CBS develops a restart of its dramedy 1990 North exposure, with star Rob Morrow and creators Joshua Brand and John Falsey.

Morrow's Dr. Joel Fleischman would return to Cicely, Alaska, to attend an old friend's funeral, reunite with his former neighbors and meet a new set of strange characters.

Brand is writing the screenplay and will produce films with Falsey, Morrow and Ben Silverman. John Corbett, who played with Morrow in the original, is a producer.

Universal Television, which produced the original series, is also behind the reboot.
