Residents in Lincoln, RI are recovering from the scare when a tornado took over Tuesday afternoon.
"I have to tell you, my sister who I'm staying with cam from Cambridge, England.We were thoroughly unprepared for this 't believe it, "George Mollo said.
The National Weather Service confirmed tornado touched down, causing all the damage.
"I did not have anything to do with it. I was actually going outside the door." Marisa Crowell said.
Her daughter and the rest of the family were not hurt, but Crowell found trees and power lines down all across their lawn.
"I did not know anything about it. I just thought it was really windy and it was knocking down the trees we were here," Crowel said.
The dogs are coming back from the severe weather hit.
"The dogs have been freaking out and have been barking and it has been a long time ago, and it was a long time ago. "I'm not going to watch the World Series and then we've lost it," Mollo said.
Power crews are working to restore power to the affected areas.
"It's just a minute and a half in that time we were just mesmerized," Mollo said.
