TAMPA, Florida – 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster and his girlfriend Elissa Ennis were reportedly involved in another domestic incident a month ago.
The incident, until then unknown, was reported to the Santa Clara Police Department in October, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on Sunday, citing two sources, and the newspaper learned the details from the captain. Wahid Kazem police.
Captain Kazem told the chronicle that one of the couple's neighbors had called the police on October 12, while Foster and Ennis were arguing aloud. It all started with items found on Foster's mobile phone, police said, who asked the couple to peacefully resolve the situation and made no arrests.
The police did file a report and described it as a "domestic disorder," according to the Chronicle. They also took pictures and recorded videos, although they found no signs of injury from one or the other party.
"We know Mr. Foster's employer well, and incidents like this happen and we do it safely," Kazem told the Chronicle.
Ennis is the same woman who accused Foster of domestic violence in February in Los Gatos and Saturday night in Tampa. Foster was arrested after these two incidents.
A spokesman for the 49ers told NBC Sports Bay Area that the organization was not aware of any other incidents.
The 49ers said Sunday morning that they were releasing Foster, who had spent the night in Hillsborough County Jail in Tampa. Foster left the prison Sunday afternoon after depositing a $ 2,000 bond.

The 49ers' coach, Kyle Shanahan, and the general manager, John Lynch, said Foster had not respected the standards they had set.
"Too much has happened and we tried to help him a lot," Shanahan said. "I know he tried too. But it was a mess no matter whether he did it or not. It is time to move on."
When asked if anything more had happened during the season that led the 49ers to cut Foster after Saturday's incident, Shanahan said, "I think everyone has small things, but nothing like it. "
Foster was arrested after an altercation Saturday night at the hotel teams. Ennis told the police that Foster had given him a phone, pushed her into the chest and hit her with an open hand on the left side of her face. Police observed a one-inch scratch on Ennis' left collarbone, according to the police report.
In February, Ennis told police in Los Gatos that Foster had hit him eight to ten times in the head. Foster was initially charged with crimes of domestic violence, criminal threats and possession of weapons.

A judge dismissed spousal abuse charges on May 23, saying the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office had not provided enough evidence to prosecute the case.
Ennis, 28, said at the preliminary hearing that she had lied during his statements to investigators in revenge against Foster, who had told him that he wished to break up with her.
As for his motivation to accuse Foster, Ennis said on the witness stand: "I was going to make a career.
