Rockies vs. Brewers NLDS 2018: Milwaukee will make the first game a decisive day, the opening match remains to be determined

The Milwaukee Brewers will begin their series of National League divisions against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday. When they do, they will not use a conventional look.

Instead, the Brewers will follow in the footsteps of Oakland's track and field by hosting a corrector game in the first game of the series, by manager. Craig Counsell:

We discussed this option as an opportunity for brewers to get into the wild card game.. It makes sense. The Brewers do not have any, but a body of deep and powerful reliefs. Assembling together four or five rounds of their average relief unit before giving way to Corey Knebel, Josh Hader and Jeremy Jeffress could be their best game.

At a minimum, changing stitches gives the Brewers the opportunity to pinch each time the pitcher's place is due. This could be helpful, depending on the situation. It's hard to know who the brewers will judge their "first match" or how they will order their raisers.

Meanwhile, Counsell announced that Jhoulys Chacin would start the second game on a short rest. Chacin kicked off Monday's deciding game. In other words, the Milwaukee office could be very busy the next two days – all deliberately.
