Reigns shocked the WWE universe last month when he revealed that he had fought this horrible disease for the first time 11 years ago. After having quickly put it into remission, the cancer has unfortunately recently reappeared.

The Big Dog then dropped out of the World Championship that he had worked so hard to win from Brock Lesnar and went home for treatment.

The quadruple world champion had not been seen or heard until Saturday when he had been seen at a football match supporting his former university team, Georgia Tech, in the face of rival University of Georgia Bulldogs.

The former WWE champion played for Georgia Tech as a defensive lineman in the mid-2000s but eventually chose a career in professional wrestling.

Reigns seemed relaxed and very optimistic when he sent one of his signature messages to the Bulldogs of the University of Georgia in a short clip posted on the official Twitter account of Georgia Tech Football.

The former Shield star joked, "I'm the real big dog here. Hell, Georgia, baby. "

Fans were very happy to see the 33-year-old grappler again and were particularly pleased with his health.

A fan wrote: "Man IDK what it is but it feels good to see his face."

Another supporter tweeted: "He looks looking, that's awesome."

And a third posted: "Omg Champ..You are gorgeous as always … Good recovery and keep fighting my champion..I love you so much."

Reigns delivered a touching speech during his last appearance on RAW, where he insisted that he was not retiring from professional wrestling.

The former world champion promised to come back stronger and better than ever before to prove to the world that he could overcome all the obstacles that life opposed him.

He said, "The reality is that my real name is Joe [Anoa’i] and i was living with leukemia for 11 years … and unfortunately, it's back.

"And as leukemia is back, I can not fulfill my role, I can not be this fight champion and I will have to give up the World Championship.

"I'm not going to lie, I take all the prayers you can send but I'm not looking for sympathy.

"I am not looking for you to feel bad because I have faith.

"When I was 22 years old, I was diagnosed with this and very quickly, I was able to put it into remission, but I'm not going to lie, it was the most difficult period of my life. .

"I did not have any work, I did not have any money, I did not have a house and I had a baby on the way." And the football was over with me.

"But do you know who gave me a chance? The team that gave me a chance was the WWE.

"Once I've finished white leukemia, I go home.

"I want to show my family, my friends, my children and my wife that when life starts, I'm the kind of man that will be in that batter's box, I'm going to pack the plate, I am going to choke and I will fight for the barriers every time!
