Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is returning to the Lakers
The 25-year-old custodian has accepted a one-year, $ 12-million contract with Los Angeles, according to a ESPN report. Caldwell-Pope averaged 13.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Lakers last season.

The Clippers also reportedly showed interest in Caldwell-Pope
Caldwell-Pope was was originally selected by the pistons with the eighth overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft. He spent four seasons in Detroit before signing a one-year contract with the Lakers in July 2017.
Caldwell-Pope's best season came in 2015-16 when he totaled 14.5 points per game.
LeBron James announced via his agency Sunday he was leaving the Cavaliers and signing a four-year, $ 154 million deal with the Lakers. Los Angeles is also pursuing a potential trade for Kawhi Leonard and has spoken with the free agent center DeMarcus Cousins, according to several reports.
The Lakers finished the 2017-18 season with a 35-47 record and missed the playoffs for a fifth straight season. But their list will appear radically different in 2018-19.
