Modern family has been full of twists, and now, bumps, this season!

Only a few episodes after the writers' murder DeDe Pritchett (played by Shelley Long), the show featured a new and very dramatic plot for Sarah Hyland's character, Haley Dunphy – she's pregnant!

During the Wednesday evening episode, Haley and Dylan (Reid Ewing) went to a carnival and drove the bumper cars to prove that they were both mature adults after Haley's charge of Peter Pan syndrome.

Unfortunately for her, Dylan hits Haley's car by putting on her lipstick, which blocks her tube in her nose. The two men then went to the hospital to have Haley treated.

But routine tests revealed that Haley would need to grow up quickly because she had a baby on her way.
