Track Palin, the eldest son of Alaska's ex-governor, Sarah Palin (R), was arrested Friday for the third time in less than three years for charges of domestic violence.

According to law enforcement officials, he allegedly assaulted a woman at her home in her last case.

Alaskan soldiers arrested the 29-year-old army veteran at around 10:30 pm on Friday while responding to a "disturbance" report at his home in Wasilla.

"When the acquaintance tried to call the authorities, he prevented him by taking away his phone," according to an online shipping report. "While being placed under arrest, Palin physically resisted the soldiers."

Palin was later charged with domestic violence, interfering with a report of domestic violence, resistance to arrest and disorderly behavior. He was taken to the Mat-Su Remand Center in Palmer, where he was detained without bail, the online shipping report said.

On Saturday night, Track Palin pleaded "not guilty" to the four defendants, reported NBC local affiliate KTUU.

Alaska State Troopers did not immediately respond to HuffPost's request for comment.

Palin is the eldest of the five children of 2008 Republican presidential candidate Sarah Palin. In June, he pleaded guilty to first degree criminal charges under a plea agreement related to his father's alleged assault in December 2017. A drunken trail had repeatedly struck Todd Palin in the head after breaking into his parents' home in Wasilla, according to prosecution documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times.

At the time of his arrest in 2017, Track Palin was on probation after entering into a guilty plea following an arrest of domestic violence in January 2016 for assaulting and pointing his gun at Jordan Lowe.

After the first arrest, Sarah Palin suggested that her son was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of his military service in Iraq.
