ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin was arrested again on suspicion of assault.
Alaskan state troops said Track Palin also resisted arrest when he was arrested at his home in Wasilla, accused of assaulting a female acquaintance on Friday night.
The soldiers say that the woman tried to call the authorities for help, but he grabbed his phone.
The 29-year-old man is incarcerated and charged with assault, arrest and disorderly conduct.
Track Palin was arrested during an assault on his father last December. The veteran of the military was accepted into a therapeutic program to rehabilitate veterans and pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
His lawyer says he has not been contacted to represent Palin in the new case. Patrick Bergt says he does not know how the allegations will affect Palin's position at the Veterans Court.
