PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Several schools districts northeast North Carolina have planned early dismissals ahead of Tropical Storm Michael.
Here's a list of districts that have reported
- Currituck County: Dismissing One Hour Early Thursday, Oct. 11.
- Edenton-Chowan: Dismissing at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11.
- Gates County: Dismissing at 1 pm on Thursday, Oct. 11.
- Hertford County: Dismissing at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11
- Northampton County: Dismissing students at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11.
Elizabeth City-Pasquotank County Public Schools is operating on a normal schedule.
