Scientists have engaged for many years in activities outside of consciousness: they are preparing to clone a woolly mammoth for its renewal. According to experts, in ten years, the animal will roam the earth with other creatures, reports Chronicle.info in reference to the news of the world.

Scientists from Yakutia, South Korea and Japan are also involved in the implementation of the plan. Sakha Aisen Nikolaev, the acting head of Yakutia, said cloning would be possible in the next ten years thanks to the help of foreign colleagues trained in modern techniques.

Experts have already started experimental cloning of some animals, such as horses and ancient cave lions. To restart the mammoths, scientists will probably use the cell, extracted from the Siberian permafrost.
