A low-cost airline that began operating four times a week between Singapore and Honolulu nearly a year ago, breaks this service in June.

Scoot, a branch of the Singapore Airlines group, has reported weak demand by announcing on its website the plan to stop the flight to Honolulu.

This change is part of a reshuffle of Scoot's services over the next two years, which includes links to SilkAir, which is being merged with Singapore Airlines.

Scoot made his inaugural flight to Honolulu in early December. He used a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with 329 seats on the road.

At the time, Scoot had said that Honolulu-Singapore single-fare rates would generally start at around $ 400, while those going to Osaka would start at $ 240.

Honolulu flights marked the carrier's first service to the United States.
