Seahawks vs. Packers: 4 winners, 3 losers from Seattle's thrilling victory

The Seattle Seahawks had their backs to the wall and hoped the playoffs would be on Thursday night. Then, in the fourth quarter, they managed a 75-yard touchdown to win a 27-24 win against the Green Bay Packers.

Aaron Rodgers finished the night with 332 yards and two touchdowns. But when he had the chance to lead the field for a decisive land or a touchdown, the Seahawks' defense held out to preserve the victory.

The Seahawks are now 5-5 and are at the heart of the NFC Wild Card race. Green Bay fell to 4-5-1 on the year with five losses in road games. It will be a difficult climb for the Packers to return to the competitive NFC North race with the Vikings and Bears competing for first place.

Here are four winners and three losers on Thursday:

Winner: The Seahawks' Demis

Seahawks first round pick Rashaad Penny played in a playoff game last week against the Rams. the silly air:

Penny was shaken in the race, though. He finished with just eight runs for 46 yards, but that allowed Chris Carson to shine with 83 yards on 17 carries and one touchdown.

Mike Davis added 26 rushing yards in just four races, making it a 155-yard, 29-run trio effort. It will do the business.

Winner: Linebacker Kyler Fackrell

The most crazy thing about Kyler Fackrell's game is that he only finished with three bags. It was like he had killed Russell Wilson about once a car.

Fackrell was an unstoppable force all night, although it helped, even after two sacks, earlier in the game, that the Seahawks decided not to block it:

Fackrell had three sacks against the Bills earlier in the season, making him and TJ Watt, the only two-pass NFL runners with multiple three-bag performances up until now in 2018. S & P he can pass the hat trick before the end of the year, Fackrell will set a franchise record.

Loser: Packers coach Mike McCarthy

At the beginning of the match, offensive midfielder Aaron Jones finally felt like he was on the offensive just as Aaron Rodgers asked him to do.

It worked too. Jones scored an 8-yard touchdown in the first quarter and caught a 24-yard touchdown in the second. Then he disappeared and finished the game with 11 races.

But aside from the misuse of an offensive weapon, McCarthy really spoiled the fourth quarter.

Despite the deep recovery of Tyler Lockett, McCarthy chose not to risk losing a timeout by intervening.

The Seahawks scored shortly after their touchdown.

When the Packers were stuck with a fourth goal in the final minutes, McCarthy relied on his defense to stop and recover the ball. They did not do it.

McCarthy was accused of retaining Rodgers, and that was not quite the case on Thursday. Rodgers had a chance to win the match and spoiled him on his last lap. But it was not a good night for McCarthy either.

The hero of this game is really Rodgers, who has thrown a ball nearly 60 meters on the money while maintaining his balance. But let's take a look at Tonyan, the tight group of Packers' FOURTH-STRING, who made his first career capture with style:

Tonyan is a second-year non-registered player who has not made a pass since his days with the Indiana State Sycamores. After spending his rookie year on the Lions and Packers training teams, he qualified for active training. Now he's playing games. Or at least a very good game

There were many false starts on Thursday. It's not unusual in a noisy place like CenturyLink Field, but it's weird when it comes to the home game that continues to blow.

The problem may be less related to noise than some of the Packers' bad tactics:

The Packers had never inflicted a penalty for having simulated the situation, but the Seahawks had not had as many problems in the second half after four penalties of false start before half-time.

Winner: Davante Adams, Packers Wide receiver

Green Bay blinked when he gave Adams an extra $ 58 million over four years just before the end of the 2017 season, but all he has done since is to prove he was worth the sentence.

Adams did not go into the end zone against the Seahawks, but he set a career high with 166 yards on 10 receptions. It was the fourth time in six games that Adams had finished with over 130 yards at the front desk, putting him behind Julio Jones only this season.

His most important play of the game was a 57-yard pass on the right-hand line, despite one of his hands down.

It does not often come to mind when people nominate the best receivers in the league, but Adams continues to show that he may deserve a place in this conversation.

Wilson's stats were not that bad at the end of the night and, in fact, he finally did enough to win. He had 225 yards and two touchdowns, but it could have been an easy win for the Seahawks if Wilson had a better night. His worst mistakes do not appear in the points chart.

He missed Doug Baldwin's goal early in the game for what should have been an easy touchdown.

He eliminated the Seahawks' chance of scoring before half-time by performing an inexplicable illegal forward side.

Wilson also caught a deflected pass for an 11-yard loss instead of dropping it to the ground. When there was a mistake to make, it seemed that Wilson had found a way to do it.

He did not finish the goat of the night, however. This distinction belonged to McCarthy. Wilson's winning touchdown saved the day for the Seahawks, although it was not enough to reach him in the winners column. But who really cares about that?
