PHOENIX – The Seattle Seahawks offered their free flight to Earl Thomas after a mid-air strike in the third quarter of the 20-17 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
Pete Carroll said after the match that Thomas had a broken leg.
Thomas, who resisted all seasons to protest his contract situation, seemed to give the middle finger in the direction of Seattle's sideline as he was taken into the locker room on a trolley.

Thomas was injured in the game which resulted in Arizona's decisive touchdown between Josh Rosen and receiver Chad Williams. Several Seahawk teammates knelt around him while holding hands, while the team's medical staff were busy with Thomas. Some Cardinals players, including Larry Fitzgerald, also came to offer their support.
Thomas was safely replaced by second-year pro Tedric Thompson.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Sunday that the Seahawks are still open to negotiations with Thomas, but have refused to comment on the asking price for a second-round pick in 2019.
Thomas expressed his dissatisfaction with his contract, which is in its last year and includes a salary of $ 8.5 million.
