A second British woman died after having undergone a Brazilian butt lifting operation just months after Leah Cambridge's death during the proceedings in Turkey.
The BBC's Victoria Derbyshire program discovered the second burn-related death, as experts warned it was the most dangerous cosmetic procedure that could be used.
The woman, less than 20 years old, died earlier this year and an investigation into her death is expected in the coming months.
The British Association of Visual Plastic Aesthetic Surgeons (Baaps) said people were running the risk of undergoing this operation – made popular by celebrities and reality TV stars – cheaply practiced abroad.
About one in 3,000 patients who have had surgery died from complications, he warned.
A Brazilian facelift (BBL) involves taking fat off a part of the body and injecting it into the buttocks.
In August, Leah, aged 29, died on the operation table during a £ 5,000 fundraising operation in a private clinic in Turkey.
The mother of three from Leeds, West Yorkshire, suffered three heart attacks after the procedure.
Scott Franks, Leah's fiance and father of his children, said he wanted the surgery because she was aware of the weight around her stomach after giving birth.
Former patients at the same clinic, Elite Aftercare in Izmir, include Lauren Goodger, Amber Turner and Chloe Ferry, from TOWIE, who appeared at Geordie Shore.
A 23-year-old woman from Wales has since said she had the same operation in Turkey in February, but three months later "infected holes" had appeared in her buttocks.

"I could not walk long," said the woman – who did not want to be named -.
"To be honest, when the holes came in, it was better because the fat was leaking, which made it possible to walk again."
She added, "It smelled. I had to groom him every day.
"Honestly, I would like to be able to go back there. I was happy with my body before. And now, I paid a stupid sum to look like this. "
Gerard Lambe, consulting plastic surgeon and member of the Baaps, told Victoria Derbyshire: "This is the highest death rate of all procedures because of the risk of fat injection into the large veins of the buttocks, which may in the heart or brain.
He said that women who had undergone surgery abroad had to undergo additional treatment upon their return to their home country when they returned home at the cost of thousands of pounds sterling. for taxpayers.
Serious complications – pulmonary embolism, fat necrosis and abscesses – that require time at the hospital can cost more than £ 13,000 per patient, said Baaps.
