PORTLAND, OR – A second case of measles was confirmed in the Portland metropolitan area.
Multnomah County Health Officials Say Person Diagnosed Friday Was In Close Contact With One Person Diagnosed Last Week
County reported that Department of Health Communicable Disease Services have alerted the second person and make sure the person stays home and away from other people

It is believed that the person was infected with measles while she was traveling abroad. Officials say it was the first case reported in the Portland metropolitan area since 2014.
