Santa Claus has come early for some Walmart buyers.

A mysterious paid the addition of an undisclosed number of items set aside in a Walmart in Derby, Vermont.

All we really know about him, is that he's a fan of the Patriots, based on a customer's snapshot while he's going about it .

Who can afford to do that? & # 39; s Santa & # 39;

Client Julie Gates said WCAX-TV that she met with the man telling a client that he would take the tab for his articles. He asked her if she was paying for an item set aside. He said, "Why do not you run and get what you want now and come back here."

She was skeptical, but the layaway option is why she came to Walmart. She came back to the line with objects and the stranger was still there. He paid everything.

"It can not be," said Gates. "Who can afford to pay for everyone's put away?" And he said: "Santa Claus can."

Walmart would not say how much the man was paying nor how many people were going home with free gifts.

This is not the first time that a foreigner pays the addition of items set aside.

Last year, a secret Santa Claus paid $ 46,000 in layaway items at a Walmart in Pennsylvania and $ 49,000 in New Jersey. In 2014, an anonymous stranger paid $ 50,000 in layaway items at a Walmart store in Pennsylvania.

These holiday surprises unfolded during the holiday season, thus allowing a megadose of cheerful holiday buyers not to forget.
