The new royal shared the details of his big day with British TV channel ITV as part of a new two-part show honoring Queen Elizabeth II.
"Somewhere, there's a piece of, you saw? There's a piece of blue fabric that's stitched inside – that's my blue thing," Meghan revealed as she gently inspected the 39, bridal ensemble.
"It's the fabric of the dress that I wore to our first date," she adds with a broad smile.

She also said that she did not see her veil over until the wedding morning.
"It was important to me, especially now that I am part of the royal family, that the 53 Commonwealth countries be incorporated," said the Duchess, quoted on the ITV website.
"I knew it would be a funny surprise for my husband, who did not know, and he was really about to discover that I would make that choice for our day together."

The touching reminder was not the only tradition in which the bride participated the day her "borrowed something" came from the monarch herself.
Queen Elizabeth lent Meghan Queen Mary's tiara diamond headband which held the veil in place. It was made in 1932, with the entire brooch dating back to 1893, according to Kensington Palace.
Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games, a sporting event for injured and sick members and veterans in 2014. It takes place every year in a different city.
The Games are also of particular importance to the Royal Couple during their first public participation at the 2017 Games in Toronto, Canada.
The documentary "Queen of the World" will air on September 25 on ITV before being broadcast on October 1 on HBO.
