Just weeks after learning that the Royal Fab Four were planning to break their common "court", the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's offices announced Saturday that the couple had decided to do so. The news was first reported by Emily Andrews of The sun.
The new home of the royal couple, in which they will move "early next year", is a 10-bedroom cottage surrounded by lush vegetation, as shown in the photo below.

The cottage will require renovations as it is currently divided into five units that can accommodate the palace staff. The sun reports that their updated residence will include a crib and space for a personal gym and yoga studio – which Meghan is known to be a big fan.
Windsor, located about 30 miles west of London, is a "special place" for the couple, said their spokesman, to the extent that it served as a setting for their wedding in May. Frogmore House, located near the couple's home, was the place where their wedding was held and where their engagement photos had been taken about a year ago.

In a statement released to PEOPLE, their office said, "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move to Frogmore Cottage in the Windsor Estate early next year, while They are preparing for the arrival of their first child. The couple live in Nottingham Cottage since their engagement last year.
"Windsor is a very special place for their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate," the statement said. "The official offices of the Duke and Duchess will remain at Kensington Palace."

The duo have been living in the Kensington Palace cottage in Nottingham since their engagement – but this two-bedroom home has never been a long-term home, especially after having children.
William and Kate have their home in London, at Kensington Palace, at Apartment 1a, which has about 20 rooms. It had been suggested that Harry and Meghan would have the neighbor's apartment, but one of the queen's cousins lived there.
Meghan and Harry, who will travel to Africa alone for two days on Monday, also share a home in the Cotswolds, which serves as an escape to London and where they spend most weekends.

With William one day ready to be the Prince of Wales – and all that that implies as heir to his father, Prince Charles – Harry and Meghan will want to make their own way, so it's natural to divide their common "court", insiders believe. (The palace had no comments.)
"The arrival of Meghan has dramatically changed the dynamics of the relationship," said Sally Bedell Smith, author of royal royals, to PEOPLE. "It's inevitable and practical as it gives Harry and Meghan some freedom to build their own collection of interests and charities."
"Meghan has very strong opinions about what interests her and maybe that's what Harry shares, but not what William and Kate share," she added.

The quartet will probably keep the success of the Royal Foundation, in which they organize their charitable activities, as well as their revolutionary campaign on mental health.
"They brought together many charities working in the same sector to empower them and lend them their jobs," said Bedell Smith. "But they are going more and more to follow their respective interests."
"Each of them will continue the queen's very strong role in the accomplishment of the tasks and missions that she herself, and probably their father, want them to take on," she continued. "They will participate in this broadcast activities on behalf of the Queen."
