The Senate Judiciary Committee released its full and final report on allegations of alleged sexual conduct against US Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh on Saturday, finding "no evidence" to corroborate them.
The report has 414 printed pages, 28 of which are the report itself and the other 53 exhibits.
The report states:
After a thorough investigation including an in-depth review of all potentially credible evidence presented and interviews with more than 40 individuals with information about the allegations, including classmates and friends of all involved, the investigators of found no witnesses who could provide verifiable evidence. support none of the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh. In other words, as a result of extensive and separate investigations by both the Board and the FBI, there was no evidence to support the allegations of sexual assault made against Kavanaugh J.
The report indicates that the committee referred several people to the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation who appeared to have made false statements against Kavanaugh on the committee.
The report also notes that the committee is investigating a former FBI employee, Monica McLean, for allegedly urging the best friend of accuser Christine Blasey Ford to amend her statement contesting Ford's account of an alleged sexual assault:
Several media reported that the FBI's supplemental report indicated that Dr. Ford's friend Leland Keyser was feeling the pressure of Dr. Ford's allies to return to his initial statement to the Committee that she was unfamiliar with Judge Kavanaugh or was not aware of anything. According to press reports, Keyser reportedly reported that former FBI employee Monica McLean, whom Dr. Ford allegedly trained at a polygraph examination years ago, while others had contacted her for suggest that he "clarify" his account. The investigators of this committee continue to look for ways to determine whether McLean or others have manipulated a critical witness.
On Friday, details came out of the committee's investigation, including the fact that a Kentucky leftist activist who claimed Kavanaugh had raped her later admitted that she had invented her story.
