Serious injury accident closes lanes of I-95 in Milford, New Brunswick

Earlier, Milford firefighters had asked the police to clear the overpass bridge that had been hit by the dump truck.


It was feared that the bridge was damaged by the collision.

The bridge has since been cleared of all traffic.

The dump truck was heading north on I-95 and the body of the dump was supposed to be in the up position. The dump truck then struck the Quarry Road overpass, located between Exits 40 and 41 at Milford, just before the Milford Rest heading north. The dump truck operator was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital. About 4 other vehicles are also involved.
