Several cars are on fire at Kings Plaza in Brooklyn, said a spokesman for the mall, and a video on social media shows a thick smoke pervading the region.

A fire call in the parking lot of the U Avenue shopping center and Flatbush Avenue arrived shortly before 9am Monday. The video of the Citizen app showed smoke coming out of the garage as passersby crowded near emergency vehicles, seeking to shelter from the shroud of smoke.
