Sharon Osbourne attacks AEG on his recent Ozzy – Rolling Stone lawsuit

Sharon Osbourne wrote a scathing open letter to Philip Anschutz, founder of the AEG concert promoter, after her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, dropped his antitrust lawsuit against the company. The filing stated that AEG had the obligation that if Ozzy was playing at the O2 Arena in London, he also had to play Staples Center in Los Angeles; Osbourne said he prefers to play at the Forum, led by AEG's competitor, Madison Square Garden Entertainment.

Although AEG claimed a "victory" in its statement on the dismissal of the complaint, which took place after the company agreed to end the blocking of the artists, Sharon said nothing in his response. Anschutz and saying, "We know Mr. Anshultz[[[[sic](aka Daddy Big Bucks) lives in his billionaire bubble.

She then offered a point-by-point rebuttal of AEG's Victory Statement. First, she says her husband's only intention with the suit was to play O2 in London and they were able to make the reservation because her O2 show will take place next February. "In my world, that means we won the case," she wrote.

"Since the beginning of this dialogue in February, it has been a battle for respect for artists and their personal preferences," she wrote. "It was not then and it is not now a battle between the promoters. This is what AEG's recent statement says is a "victory".

She also challenged AEG's claim that MSG, Live Nation and Irving Azoff, the CEO of Azoff MSG Entertainment, filed a lawsuit. They called this allegation "disrespectful". Live Nation and MSG, "she wrote. She also lowered the notion that the lawsuit was an "advertising ploy", pointing out that she and her husband had only made a statement about it.

She closed while ironing a part of the statement that seemed to make fun of Ozzy's past, where he bit sadly the head of a dove and a bat. "The only thing that was interesting in your statement was your pitiful attempt at humor with your quote that Ozzy had no idea what he was biting," he said. she writes. "If you're interested, Ozzy and I have something good to bite you in our assholes … see you later losers!"

Ozzy is currently in the middle of the North American tour of his No More Tours 2 tour, which he has called his last world tour, although he still intends to perform. Rolling stone examined the kickoff of the leg saying, "Osbourne and his group were both in great shape throughout the evening. Ozzy's voice was loud and tangible, even during some incredibly high parts of the song, and Wylde & Co. seemed to play a bazillion of notes each on their instruments.

We know Mr. Anshultz[[[[sic](aka "Daddy Big Bucks") lives in his billionaire bubble, but the fact is that Ozzy sued AEG for the right to perform at O2 in London. We won the deal and Ozzy's O2 show went on sale on September 5th for a show next year (February 11, 2019). In my world, that means we won the case. Ozzy plays O2 without having to play at Staples Center, that's all that matters to us. Since the beginning of this dialogue in February, it is a struggle for respect for artists and their personal preferences. It was not then and it is not now a battle between the promoters, this is what the recent declaration of the AEG describes as "victory".

Saying that this "lawsuit was initiated by Azoff and paid for by MSG and Live Nation" and that "it was created on the back of an artist who, in our opinion, has no idea what he was biting" , is fake and disrespectful to Ozzy, myself and the entire team working on this tour. Whatever differences you have with Irving Azoff, do not assume that you know who initiated the lawsuit or know anything about Ozzy Osbourne, because you obviously do not know anything about the story of Ozzy or from mine. So stop with your hubbildy, Bubbuldy BULLSHIT and your little piss contest with Live Nation and MSG.

With respect to the allegations in the AEG statement that this "lawsuit was a transparent public relations ploy", if that was indeed the case, why then did AEG precipitate a declaration of victory? While we, throughout this process, until now, we have made only one statement regarding the initial filing.

Ozzy's preference was to perform at the Forum, a place that has been part of his musical history for more than 46 years. From the beginning, it was not a battle for Ozzy, but for other artists who had to abide by these rules and regulations. Do not forget all why you are here … the artists.
