Six people were shot and wounded during a shooting in Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday. The Jacksonville sheriff's office said the shooting had taken place a few blocks from TIAA Bank Field, the Jacksonville Jaguars Stadium, reports WJAX, a CBS affiliate.
Three of the victims are in critical condition, the police said. Five men and one woman were injured. Their ages range from 20 to 70 years old.
Police reacted to the shooting on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard and Pippin Street at 12:35 pm. They claimed that shots were fired outside a Laundromat in the area. and that firing could be linked to gangs.
Police said that Jaguar fans who were parked near the scene of the shootings would be escorted by the police to their vehicle.
No suspects were arrested. Police said they were looking for a gray or silver four-door vehicle and urging the public to participate in the investigation by calling the sheriff's office at (904) 630-0500.
