She had the first breakdown of the season and called everyone in the wrong house and wished that she could be back home to Virginia with her real friends. Spunky JC summoned Sam politely, telling her that she needed to enjoy the experience and that thousands of people wanted to be in her place, advice that Sam ended up wishing.

The first slop of the season was featured and Brett, Winston Scottie and Kaitlyn all described themselves as the poor first. The revelation of the non-possessors' room soon followed, which revealed the three-foot satellite dishes that the underprivileged would have to endure.
An official alliance formed between Tyler, Winston, Brett, Rachel, Angela, and Kaycee. The group called themselves "Level Six" and created a handshake to go with their new group.
