Jimmy Butler is well pointed out during his home debut on Friday night.
Now the Sixers are facing a back-to-back situation as they travel to Charlotte to face the Hornets on Saturday.
Let's take a closer look at the game.
• How could we start this on something other than Butler? He was fantastic in his first home game as Sixer, which sparked a lot of enthusiasm within the noisy crowd at the Wells Fargo Center. It was a playoff atmosphere in last night's victory over the Jazz (see comments).

We are still in the honeymoon phase, but Butler shows that he has already managed to adapt to the terrain. He even loves the music of victory (see the story).
• Joel Embiid had a strange night last night. He had serious problems and missed most of the third quarter, but was huge in the fourth. He scored 13 of his 23 points in the last period.
He also revealed that he had trouble playing at the beginning of the first quarter. What's strange is that Embiid has revealed that it was the same problem he had last December during a road match in Phoenix. He was quick to say "I play" when asked what his status was with the Hornets.
His right hand seemed swollen after the match, but he looked good during his big fourth quarter. It will be just something to watch for if Embiid starts to favor his pulling hand.
• Brett Brown said after last night's match that he thought Ben Simmons would have the "biggest fit" to do with Butler in the fold (see the story). Simmons has been pretty quiet in both games since Butler came here. Although he seemed more aggressive last night, he averaged only 9.5 points and only 14 shots in the last two combined contests.
Part of this is by design. Brown added that Simmons must now become a true playmaker. Before Butler's arrival, he was counting on him to score and facilitate. In the end, this could be the best thing for Simmons to do because he will be under less pressure to shoot. At the same time, you do not want him to lose his aggressiveness in an offensive way.
• After seeing Donovan Mitchell win a ton of shooting on Friday, the Sixers will be responsible for containing Kemba Walker. As we saw in the first two confrontations against the Hornets, Walker has no conscience. He really became one of the league's top scorers.
Walker had trouble early in Charlotte's loss at the Wells Fargo Center last week, but had a fourth monster quarter. The Sixers did not have Butler in this game, which earned Mitchell 13 points out of 35 and no decisive pass last night.
While the Sixers set up a heavier switch program this season, it was interesting to hear Brown say that Butler wanted to stay with Mitchell and that the coaches had left him. I imagine it will be the same thing with Walker tonight. Butler's defense against the elite is already obvious.
