"SNL" portrays conservative representations of the migrant caravan

NBC's "Saturday Night Live" inspired an alarming Fox News forecast of the caravan of asylum seekers traveling through Mexico to the United States.

The fox personality Laura Ingraham, played by Kate McKinnon, described it as a "vicious caravan" of perhaps millions of people "heading towards you and your grandchildren".

Guest Judge Jeanine Pirro, played by Cecily Strong, said: "There are Guatemalans, Mexicans, ISIS, the Menendez brothers, the Detroit Pistons of the 1990s" and "hella Aladdins".

Former Conservative Sheriff David Clarke, played by Kenan Thompson, served as an expert on migration.

"The caravan is only 800 km from our border," he said. "If these immigrants walk at a normal pace of 300 km a day, they could be here in time to vote on polling day."

"We also learned that all the women in the caravan were more than nine months pregnant," he said. "… they will literally drop anchor, and the babies, take this, are pregnant."

The Saturday night show was hosted by actor Jonah Hill.

The segment "Weekend Update" resumed the theme with its co-host, Colin Jost, who announced that a "new caravan of migrants had just arrived at Mar-a-Lago" – The Florida speaker of President Donald Trump.

Michael Che, co-host of "Update," said that sending thousands of soldiers to the southern border to leave the caravan should not be a priority.

"If anything," he says, "you must send the troops to prevent your grandchildren from stealing all your pain medication."

"SNL" repertoire player, Pete Davidson, did not disappoint the fans who listened to know he would address his recent breakup with pop star and former fiancée Ariana Grande .

"The truth is that it does not look anyone, and sometimes it does not work – and it's good," he said at "Weekend Update". "He is a great and strong person and I sincerely wish him all the happiness of the world."

When Davidson spoke about the relationship in a promotional video for Saturday's show – he jokingly asked the musical guest Maggie Rogers to marry – Great did not seem to be happy about it .

In a tweet that she later deleted, Grande said, "For someone who claims to hate relevance, you'll love hanging on it, huh."

Her follow-up tweet, "Thank u, next", has turned out to be the title of her latest single, which she published about 45 minutes before the broadcast of "SNL" on Saturday.

"Even almost married," she sings. "And for Pete, I'm so grateful."

At the end of his segment on "Weekend Update," Davidson said at the exit: "I'm still a good song."
